Coach Hire Sligo
Sligo is a compact town with Yeats country and some of Ireland's oldest monuments within 20 minutes. A coach can fit several short stops into one day without long stretches on the road.
Dropping off in town
Sligo County Council provides a coach drop-off and collection facility on Markievicz Road, close to the town centre. It is kept for coaches, and other vehicles misusing it are ticketed. That makes it the natural place to meet the group after a walk round the town.
Sligo Abbey, the ruined Dominican friary, is right in the centre. Most visitors stay in town, at Rosses Point or in Strandhill; mixed hotels mean staggered pick-ups.

Yeats country and the passage tombs
Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery lies about 5 km west of town, around 10 minutes. Drumcliffe, where W. B. Yeats is buried beneath Benbulben, is about 15 minutes north. Lissadell House, the Gore-Booth family home on Sligo Bay, is about 20 minutes. All three fit into a single day with time for lunch.
Glencar Waterfall, towards Leitrim, and the surf beach at Strandhill are easy to add on a longer afternoon.

Knock Shrine is about 55 km away, around 50 minutes, which suits pilgrimage groups based in Sligo. A morning at the shrine still leaves the afternoon free for Carrowmore or the coast on the way back.
Donegal town is about 65 km, roughly an hour on the road. It makes a good half-day, or the first leg of a longer run into the north-west. If the programme stretches that far, tell us the full route so the operator can check it against driver hours.

Ireland West Airport Knock is about 62 km from Sligo, 45 to 60 minutes via the N17 and N4. Groups flying into Dublin travel the N4 and M4, which passes the Kilcock-Kinnegad toll point. Ask for the toll to be included in the quote.
Markievicz Park hosts Sligo GAA football and hurling, and Sligo Rovers play at The Showgrounds. On match days, fix the return pick-up point before the game.
