Executive car with a driver
An executive car is for one to three people who need to arrive on time and ready to work: a speaker, a board member, a VIP guest or a couple on their wedding day.
What the car holds
The class is a chauffeur-driven premium saloon of the E-Class type. It seats 1 to 3 passengers. The boot on a non-hybrid E-Class holds about 540 litres. That suits a business traveller's cases, but not golf bags or a group's kit, and hybrid versions may have less. If there are four passengers or more bags, an executive van is the better fit.

Licensing
A car hired with a driver must be an NTA-licensed small public service vehicle, either a hackney or a limousine. The operator supplies a car licensed in one of those classes. Ask for the licence type on the quote if your organisation's travel policy needs it on record, and check that the passenger names match the booking.
At the airport
Meet-and-greet at airport arrivals comes with this class, so the passenger is met rather than left to find the car park. Send the flight number with the booking, so the pickup follows the actual landing time rather than the scheduled one, and give a mobile number for the traveller in case of delays at passport control.
For a conference, one car can shuttle a speaker between the hotel and the venue while delegates travel by coach. For a wedding, the car takes the couple while guests go by midi coach or coach. Timing each car against the main group's schedule keeps both on track.
Questions

One to three. For four to seven, book an executive van instead; for more, a minibus.
How much luggage fits in the boot?
About 540 litres on a non-hybrid E-Class. List the bags when booking and the operator will say whether they fit.
Does the driver meet passengers inside the terminal?
Yes, meet-and-greet at arrivals is part of this class. Include the flight number when booking.
