Event Transport in Ireland
Big events change how a city moves. Choose an event for the venue, the dates and where a group vehicle can set down.
Book early for the big dates
St Patrick's Festival in Dublin, the All-Ireland hurling and football finals at Croke Park and the Galway Races at Ballybrit all draw very large crowds. Coaches and drivers are in demand on those days, so a request sent well ahead has more operators to choose from. The same goes for other major annual events around the country.
Road closures move the set-down
Streets close for parades and around stadiums on match days. The set-down point may be further from the venue than usual, and the pickup afterwards is slower than the drop-off. Agree a meeting point and departure time with the group before they leave the coach.
Coming from the other side of the country
Many groups travel a long way for a final or a race day. A return trip in one day can exceed what one driver may legally work, so plan an overnight stop or a second driver.
Questions
Can the coach wait during the event?
Usually it parks away from the venue and comes back for the pickup. Where it waits depends on local parking rules.
Do you sell event tickets?
No. We arrange the transport only.
Can one vehicle collect from several towns?
Yes, if the pickups are on the route. List each one with a time in your request.
