Coach and minibus hire at Cork Airport (ORK)
Cork Airport has a single terminal, and hired coaches and minibuses load right in front of it. The meet is easy; the planning starts once the vehicle is on the road.
Bus Bays C and D
Private coach hire and minibus operators are asked to use Bus Bay C or D to drop off or collect passengers. Both are at the front of the terminal building, where every bus and coach service arrives and departs, so there is no long walk to a remote coach park.
The bays are shared, though, and a driver cannot hold one for an hour. The operator times the vehicle to the landing, so send flight numbers and pass on any diversion or cancellation the moment you hear of it. If the group is split across two flights hours apart, keep the early arrivals inside the terminal rather than out at the bays.

Drive to the city centre
- about 8 km, about 15-30 min
Twenty to thirty minutes into Cork
The city centre is about 8 km away, about 20-30 minutes by road. Scheduled buses take about 25 minutes to Parnell Place Bus Station, a handy fallback if one passenger lands far behind everyone else.
Group hotels are spread across the city centre, the MacCurtain Street area by the railway station, Douglas, Blackrock and Mahon, and Little Island and Fota. There are hotels near the airport itself, useful before an early flight home.
Where Cork arrivals head next
Cork Airport is the first choice for Cork city and the harbour and the nearest listed airport for Waterford. It is also a second option for Killarney, Limerick, Kilkenny and Wexford. Blarney, Midleton and Kinsale are all within half an hour of the city, which makes any of them a gentle first stop after a flight. Cobh, for cruise connections, is about 25-30 minutes from the city.
A group heading straight to Killarney has about 90 km and about 1.5 h ahead. If a stop is wanted on the way, say so when you ask for the quote, because it lengthens the driver's day.
Bags, clubs and vehicle size
A midi coach has underfloor bays, but smaller ones than a full-size coach; a minibus has only a rear compartment. Golf bags, bikes and sports kit take far more room than suitcases, so list them on the request. For eight or fewer passengers, an NTA-licensed hackney or limousine at a fare agreed in advance is the legal option.
