Coach travel to the All-Ireland finals at Croke Park

The All-Ireland senior hurling and football finals are played at Croke Park, usually in July with hurling first. The 2027 dates are not yet published and will be confirmed nearer the time.

No coach set-down at the stadium

For the 2026 finals, Gardaí provided no coach set-down, collection or parking area near Croke Park. Coaches were not allowed to drop off or pick up on any of the main roads around the stadium. Coach parking was at the NTA Coach Park in Dublin Docklands.

Plan on the same pattern in 2027 unless the Garda traffic information says otherwise. That means supporters walk between the coach and the ground, so tell older fans and anyone with limited mobility before the day.

Using Docklands as the base

The NTA Docklands Coach Park has 50 bays and is reached from Park Lane, off North Wall Quay; parking is paid through NTA Cashless Parking. Agree a meeting point there and a firm departure time, and do a headcount before the coach moves off. After a final, nobody wants to wait for one missing supporter.

Booking before the county is through

A motion to move the football final to August from 2027 was withdrawn at GAA Congress in February 2026, so the finals stay in July. If your county is still in the championship, talk to the operator early about a provisional booking, and confirm as soon as the fixture is set.

Long days for county buses

Supporters' buses from Cork, Kerry, Galway or Donegal face a long drive each way. Drivers may drive 9 hours a day, 10 twice a week, and must stop for 45 minutes (or 15 then 30) within each 4.5 hours of driving. Add post-match traffic and a day return from the far south-west can run close to those limits, so raise a two-driver plan or a night in Dublin at quote stage.

Tolls add up along the way. The Dublin-Cork route passes the Portlaoise-Cullahill and Rathcormac-Fermoy toll points, the M4 Kilcock-Kinnegad toll sits on the road from the west, and the M50 between Junctions 6 and 7 is barrier-free with no cash booth. Big coaches (more than 25 seats) are not charged in the Dublin Port Tunnel.
